POLS 3990/ECON 4010 Problems of European Integration.
Prerequisite: permission of instructor

This Course will look at the economic and political issues surrounding the process of European integration. Course is tied into a study trip to Denmark, with options to visit other neighboring EU-member countries. Denmark is a good case study for the study of integration, as it is a full participant in the single market and a signatory of the Treaty of Amsterdam. However, Denmark is not, as yet, participating in monetary union. This country then, provides an opportunity to investigate pro-EU as well as EU-skeptical points of view and interests
