"The Scandinavian Experience"

A two-week study trip to Denmark and neighboring countries, for undergraduate students in political science and economics (core credit available): 3-6 credits. Cost: $2000
Price includes airfare, accommodations, breakfast, train fares, and museum admissions

Monday May 12, 2003 - Arrive in Copenhagen, student reception

Tuesday - seminar with Danish Industries & visit to Carlsberg Museum

Wednesday - seminar with Labor Federation & visit to Worker's Museum

Thursday - seminar with Foreign Ministry & visit to National Museum

Friday - visit Parliament and the Freedom Museum

Saturday - free day to visit Malmö, Sweden

Sunday - travel to Odense, student reception

Monday - seminar with Syddansk Universitet political science faculty;
Print and Newspaper museum or Hans Christian Andersen birthplace

Tuesday - travel to Sønderborg, student reception

Wednesday - seminar with Syddansk U. economics faculty
Tour of Claussen plant in Augustenborg

Thursday - free day to visit Flensburg, Germany

Friday - return to Copenhagen

Saturday - visit the Palace and the Little Mermaid

Sunday - free day in Copenhagen (souvenir shopping on the Strøget?)

Monday, May 26th - return flight
