Dr. Katherine Bennett is a full professor of criminal justice in the Department of Criminal Justice, Social and Political Science.

She has been at Armstrong since 1997 and has served as interim department head for one year and interim director of institutional research for two years.

She is presently the coordinator of the criminal justice internship program.

Dr. Bennett teaches courses in criminology, research methods, corrections, and interpersonal communication skills.

Her research interests and areas of publication include legal issues in corrections, reintegrative shaming theory, and various areas of juvenile justice.
